Yes, these are in error. 2nd edition StarCraft was going to be 3d6, but community feedback preserved it as d20. Any mention of 3d6 are incorrect. Treat as 1d20.
Sometimes I see these 3d6 instead of 1d20 rolls for attacks in the stat blocks of enemies and such and it just looks like oversight from a time where the core mechanic might have been changed over to a d20 version cause other parts of the rules never really reference it. Wondering if I am just blind or if just replacing it with the 1d20 roll is the way its supposed to be.
Thanks for the call outs. We will try to have them fixed by the next time we publish. Keep posting anything you find!
Core book, page 26, 3rd paragraph "3 strikess" should be "3 strikes"
There are many examples of using "loose" in the place of "lose", and "effecting" instead of "affecting."
In the paragraph talking about the Ghost Background, there is a sentence that needs amending about the neural implants:"They do not These characters also begin play with a Vessel-Pattern Neural Implant, greatly restricting their ability as independent players (see Neural Implants in Game Universe Rules chapter)."
The talent "see the unseen" is listed at (Perception 6) prerequisite in the chart, and a higher prerequisite (perception 8) in the long description.
